THE LEMON JAR not just a pretty face

Hi!

Wyatt and I love everything about Christmas. But admit it, the season can be pretty stressful!

For those of you who are just like us and dread undergoing the forever pressure of finding that perfect gift; we can help you.  Every Holiday season, Wyatt and I make a fresh batch of our Lemon Butter Creams. It sounds as if you could almost eat them! And although you could... they make for better skin care products instead. Our creams are made from all natural ingredients that include Fair Trade Organic Shea Butter from Uganda and Raw Organic Coconut Oil. No chemicals. Ever.

And here’s the best part; hate waiting in long lines and having to wrap dozens of presents yourself? Well we’ve got you covered. We wrap and package every glass jar in fresh colours of tissue paper and deliver them right to your doorstep from December 18th to 23rd - just before Christmas.

We sell our creams in 60ml glass jars for $10 and by purchasing them, you are also supporting women and children both here and in Uganda. For more information check out our blog at KIDS CANADA

A shout out to all of our friends who have bought our creams for the past 6 years! We can not do what we do without each and every one of you!  Please share our video!

Lemon Butter Creams

Hi everyone!

We are happy to announce that we will be continuing to make our line of Lemon Butter Creams just in time for the holiday season. We use Fair Trade organic Shea Butter from Uganda, Raw Organic Coconut Oil, specially selected essential oils and organic Argan oil to create the perfect natural product that we hope you will love as much as we do!

When you buy our creams we all get to help support 2000 farmers and their families in a village in Lira, Uganda. The company my mom buys the Shea Butter from contributes part of its sales to support local community development: education, training, health care and environmental awareness.  Your support doesn't stop there 10% of each sale goes to our organization, Kids Canada, to support our friends here in Canada and in Uganda. Check out the cool projects you have helped us with: Our Kids Mean Business

Our creams still cost $10 for a 60ml glass jar and are freshly made, wrapped and delivered to your door during the week of December 18-24th. This makes it a great and easy present for friends, family or even for yourself!

A  great thanks to everyone who has been supporting us and our business for the past 6 years!

What The LEMON JAR does to help keep your Lemon Butter Cream fresh
Homemade skincare products do not last as long as store bought products.

1.     Our ingredients are antimicrobial. We use Fair Trade Organic Shea Butter, Raw Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Argan Oil and Essential Oils of Lemon, Lime and Lavender.
2.     We use glass jars not plastic.
3.     We make small fresh batches twice a year that you should enjoy within a year.
How to keep your LEMON JAR products fresh
1.     Dip into the jars with Dry Clean Fingers.  Keep away from water.
2.     Store in dark cool places or in your fridge to avoid light and heat oxidation.
3.     Your Lemon Butter Cream may melt in warmer temperatures.  If this happens –just mix oils and store in your fridge.

How to use your Lemon Butter Cream
Use on skin after a bath to moisturize and/or sparingly on hair to protect the ends.
Use on cuts, scrapes and bruises.
Use as a diaper cream and to massage your little ones after a bath.
Shea Butter is "naturally rich in vitamins A, E, F and essential fatty acids and nutrients."*
Coconut oil is rich in Vitamin E and contains antioxidants that help stop free radicals from aging the skin.   Easily absorbed  -it softens, nourishes and protects by forming a barrier on your skin to avoid moisture loss. **
Organic Argan Oil –especially rich vitamin E, minerals, antioxidants and fatty acids "which contribute to its healing and moisturizing properties."***

Citrus oils are used in aromatherapy and have many healing properties but are photosensitive –avoid immediate exposure to sun when applied to exposed skin.
Lemon –energizing, refreshing, enhances concentration, antiseptic, astringent, antimicrobial.
Lime –revitalizing, antiseptic, astringent, antimicrobial
Lavender -calming, antiseptic, antimicrobial, helps to heal wounds, calms inflammation.
